My name is Joe Koffman and I am an offspring of the Cape Flats.
My story dates back to the year 1971, on the 27th Day of the 11th Month. Many will remember this timeline, as the height of political unrest in South Africa. The apartheid system was causing widespread socio-economic problems of every kind imaginable and unimaginable.
Every man or woman, if he or she so desires, can become the sculptor of their own life.

Phase 3
Rest & Recovery
Our aim is to guide and optimize your internal state of being through functional nutrition and stress management. To where the various hormones involved are supporting your goal .
Example : To optimize your body's metabolism for fat burning. We need to focus on a number of key hormones and their effects on your body. 1. Blood sugar regulation is directly related to the hormone insulin. Which are the key driver of energy metabolism and fat storage. 2 . Abnormally high levels of the hormone cortisol, which may lead to more fat storage. When cortisol and insulin are around together, it causes an exaggerated effect on fat storage. 3. Ghrelin is a hormone that increases appetite and also plays a role in body weight. 4. Leptin is a hormone made by fat cells that decreases your appetite.
